Power of Two

beginnerlayer I11 · Bit manipulation4 tests

Return true when the integer n is a power of two, i.e. n === 2 ** k for some integer k >= 0.

  • No loops, no division, no Math.log — a single bit trick decides it
  • n fits in a signed 32-bit integer and may be zero or negative; both answer false
