Remove Duplicates from Sorted Array

Given a sorted array nums, remove the repeated values in place so each distinct value appears once. Return k, the number of distinct values.

  • The first k slots of nums must hold the distinct values in order
  • Whatever sits beyond index k - 1 does not matter
  • Do not allocate a second array
