Swap Nodes in Pairs

Walk the list swapping every two adjacent nodes, and return the new head.

  • Swap the nodes by relinking — do not just exchange val fields
  • If the list has an odd length the final node keeps its place
  • Lists of length 0 or 1 are returned unchanged
