Symmetric Tree

Decide whether a binary tree is a mirror image of itself — that is, whether the left subtree is the reflection of the right subtree.

  • An empty tree is symmetric
  • Mirroring means the left child of one side lines up with the right child of the other
  • Missing children have to line up too, not just values
