Asteroid Collision

intermediatelayer B8 · Stacks & queues5 tests

Each entry of asteroids is an asteroid: its magnitude is the size and its sign is the direction — positive moves right, negative moves left. They all move at the same speed. Return the state of the row once no more collisions can happen.

  • Two asteroids collide only when a right-mover is immediately followed by a left-mover
  • The smaller one explodes; if they are the same size both explode
  • Asteroids moving the same way, or moving apart, never meet
