Maximal Rectangle

Given a 2-D matrix filled with the numbers 0 and 1, return the area of the largest rectangle made entirely of 1s.

  • The rectangle must be axis-aligned and solid — no zeros inside it
  • An empty matrix, or one with no 1s at all, gives 0
  • Aim for O(rows * cols)
