Longest Common Prefix

Given an array of strings, return the longest string that every one of them starts with. Write longestCommonPrefix(strs).

  • If the strings share no starting characters, return the empty string
  • An empty array also yields the empty string
  • Any empty string in the array forces the answer to be empty
