Maximum Product Subarray

Given an integer array nums, return the largest product achievable by any contiguous, non-empty subarray.

  • Negative numbers flip the sign, so today's worst product can become tomorrow's best
  • A zero resets any running product
  • A single element is a valid subarray, so an all-negative array still has an answer
